The Asian Games 2023 is going to be held in Hangzhou (China). The opening ceremony will be held on 23rd September and the closing ceremony on October 8th in Hangzhou (China). This is the 19th edition Asian games which will have 40 sports across 61 disciplines is set to begin and fans are waiting to see the best talented athletes of their country and this continent.
“Surging Tides” is announced as the emblem of Asian games 2023.The design of emblem resembles a running track, a hand fan and the Qiantang River, and radio waves which is symbolic of wireless connectivity. Also, the three mascots which are together known as together known as ‘Memories of Jiangnan’ have been named as Congcong, Lianlian and Chenchen.

Indian Contingent for Asian games 2023
India is sending its largest ever contingent comprising of 655 athletes in the Asian games. The games will be conducted across 56 locations in Hangzhou (China). There are few games which will act as qualifier for Paris Olympics like Boxing and Hockey. Some of the top Indian stars in Hangzhou includes Neeraj Chopra, PV Sindhu and Bajrang Punia etc. India got its highest medal tally in 2018 and they would like to reach higher medal tally in 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou China.
